6. Dalmatian hinterland
The most prevalent varieties: Oblica, Istarska bjelica, Levantinka and Drobnica
The interior of Dalmatia stretches from the mountain massif of Velebit, Dinara in the north and the mountainous chains Kozjak of Mosor and  Biokovo in the south. Cultivation is possible only in some micro-locations, primarily due to low winter temperatures.
